Amazone UF sprayer through Fendt Vario terminal.

Looking to run up an Amazone UF 1501 sprayer utilising the Fendt Vario terminal for full control and operation of the sprayer and mapping.
So far everything on the isobus side has loaded correctly and we are able to assign function controls to the Fendt joystick.
Before we start ,will we need to create a trigger value to initiate map coverage or will turning the sprayer on and off have the desired effect?
Dealer has no idea and really there is no relevant trigger value in the settings that corresponds to taking an implement on/off signal as the beginning point to start mapping.
Tractor is Profi plus and factory fitted Trimble receiver installed.
Any thoughts or previous experiences would be great.

Should take care of itself if on ISO. I run a triple mower through the vario terminal and it only paints when PTO is on and in mowing position. Should be settings somewhere to fine tune every thing that others may know more about

Thanks @Deerefarmer .
A quick run and everything works as it should but turning the sprayer on and off won't initiate mapping / coverage.
Perhaps we need to setup a job / task in Vario Doc?

I'm still learning how to use the isobus department on the fendt myself hopefully others on here are more familiar with this...
Ps did you try checking the Amazone system for any settings?

Should simply trigger the coverage mapping as you wish. Have you run it up yet?

It should just work with the sections as they turn on and off.

Is the task controller turned on as it won’t map from an isobus machine if it’s not.

I have had it where an air drill won’t drive the coverage map as there is a software glitch between the 2 machines so I have to run it with coverage of the lift and lower.

Should just work - as the TC would be switched on if he’s running only one ISObus screen (the Fendt terminal).

Amazone ISObus and Fendt ISObus mostly just works in my experience of Amazone spreader and sprayer. Maybe it’s a German thing :sneaky::D

Yeah it should be on but a possible someone has turned it off. It could be a German thing although I’ve used Bogballe, raven, and now topcon isobus devices and the only ones to give me grief are the 2 topcon units. Currently working with dealer to find a solution whether that is software or returning the unit time will tell.

Thanks for the helpful advice.
Had a chance to run the sprayer again today and found all that was needed to get mapping to initiate on the Vario terminal in tandem with spray on/off was to create a job in the Vario Doc with the appropriate settings filled in.
A lot of trial and error here and great advice from members on this forum.
We really struggle to get concise and exact technical support on the operation of Varioguide at a dealer level.
This is an area where all manufacturers could offer more I feel.

The irony is that the bloke who is the global AGCO product manager for VarioGuide, Angus Hogan, is based over the ditch from you. Go figure eh!

Maybe I should tag him on twitter and give us the insight of his wisdom.

Sadly he’s not anymore. Left Agco a few weeks ago.

Went to a company called swarm farm robotics. Rather annoying as he knew his stuff
