amazone za-m spreader

any one know anything about Amazone spreaders. ive got a "new to me" second hand one with 18-24 disk on her. do i have to swap the whole disk of my old amazone (12-16 disks set for 15m tramlines) or can i get away with just swapping the vanes as the disks seem the same

Swapping the discs will be quicker than changing vanes

the current disk have been on 15year + and don't want to come off, with out a lot of hammering, which i'm scared will damage the disks. the vanes are held on with 4 bolts which i can remove easy

In which case maybe just move the vanes as danger of bending the disks. If you’ve not got a manual for it then you can download one from Amazone and as for settings then they have a phone app that I use - gets you in right ballpark. You probably know this though!

Which disks do you have old style OS or OM? The vanes off an OS 20-28 are the same as vanes on OM 18-24 disc.
What's your new tramline width?

Yes the discs are identical. You need only swap the vanes if you wish to remain on 15m.

Which disks do you have old style OS or OM? The vanes off an OS 20-28 are the same as vanes on OM 18-24 disc.
What's your new tramline width?

om10-16 on the old
om 18-24 on the new to me which i want to replace with the om 10-16. as i'm stay at 15m tramlines (for now, plans to move to 24 when i can afford to change sprayer)

Set them for 18m and they will be about right. I`m on 18 metres and have to have mine set for 21 to get the tray test correct.
