Another Le Pen poll

Do you WANT Marine Le Pen to be the next French President ?

  • Yes

    Votes: 21 67.7%
  • No

    Votes: 10 32.3%

  • Total voters
    31
I do care who wins because I would like to see the Liberals receive a massive kicking for creating many wars over the past few decades ... all based on regime change.

I haven't and won't vote in these polls because IMHO my vote would not be representative of the politics within France ... which surely is the main point of the poll.

Anyway, good luck with the future France.

Perhaps that should of been "blamed for war"
And the Liberals were a far different kettle of fish
also 150 years ago Europe as we know it , did not exist. It is always easy to blame one 's problem on the "other". However changes are good, and I think that we do need to get rid of all these old world regimes. But no Le Pen, she is part of the old self serving corrupt system.
Something more along the line of the 5 stars movement in Italy, for the people by the people, no more career politicians., my humble opinion;):)

Beppe Grillos mob are just that, they are a protest party and as such have done a good job in pointing the spotlight on corruption in Italy's ruling parties, but putting them in power would result in serious anarchy and no government at all.

Possibly, I guess it s still in some transitional phase, its governance system is a bit all over the place. However we ll soon find out what they are capable of, as more cities, including Rome have 5* mayors and cabinets majorities. The idea of direct democracy and people active participation in decision making, might be the way for the future. (y)

Rome is a perfect example of the lack of governance and 5 star chaos.

Am I allowed to say " I could not care less"? Frankly I could not care less who is President of any European country, including the one I live in.

I do hope those who do care complete your survey.

No. Why would you?
Despite coming from near Leicester, where apparently the Man U the the rugby world come from, I have no interest in rugby. My brother does, so I have enough knowledge to know the 6 nations is something to do with it.
When I see a thread about the 6 nations, I just don't go on it. I can't see any reason why I would go on that thread, only to say I had no interest in it:scratchhead:

Why what s happened? I think the 5* lady mayor was just elected, and she has an uphill struggle there, the old families and the all corrupted system will fight tooth and nails to avoid changes to their comfy lives styles, based on nepotism favoritism and every other ism possible.

OK, I will not say it then. I clicked on the thread by accident.

Her 7 months as mayor has had lots of scandal this is the latest I think:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/italys-5-star-leader-backs-rome-mayor-under-114414718.html
You r right, lately I ve lost any sense of time, time seems to ve just flown by in the last couple of years for me.
Anyway I just did a crash course on the Mayor of Rome and all these scandals and.. I like her, I think what happened is exactly what I was referring to in my post.
She fell into the Roman political machine of nepotism and favoritism. She trusted a couple of people from the old guard, remanence of previous mayors and the closed political system. The very people she is trying to get rid of, she was naive, and I believe she did not realize the infid machinations of these career politicians and officials. She trusted them they proved helpful and knowledgable big mistake and she is paying for it.
The major news outlets seem to really going after her, like I said the old guard will fight to keep the status quo, this is character assassination Roman style, accusations based on misinterpreted and secon hand evidence, the truth as in previous cases will prove different and hopefully clear her. In the meantime, contrary to that article Beppe Grillo has full confidence in her, and so do the people of Rome, she is doing a fantastic job or so I v been told. I mean she is trying, but that means dismanteling a huge system on which quite a lot of people depend on, so it wont be easy, again time will tell.

I often wonder if the people who are polled and eventually cast there vote have a problem actually envisaging the future , and in some strange way cant put their reality and a promise of Utopia from a politician in to separate catagories It's almost as if they are living out a fantasy or they are directing a film, when in fact it's there own lives they are messing with
