Any ideas on a cheap and simple water pump to feed a trough?

I just need a small low volume pump to move water to a field trough that is only about 15’ higher than a gravity fed supply.

A pressure vessel would seem a bit OTT for what will only need about 200l a day pumping to a low head of gravity.

Would even a small battery pump act as a relay boost from existing gravity fed trough to another about 40m away and about 5m higher up the field?

Other option is a small mains powered unit sited by existing header tanks in a building loft. TIA for any ideas.

Is there any way to move the header tanks to a higher spot to gain more head.

As I understand it the header tank is the limiting factor.

Unfortunately not: at maximum height. Maybe need to just buy a small mains powered pressure vessel to put by the header tanks and do the job once and for all without any ifs and buts? Only thing with these is the diaphragms tend to perish after a couple of years meaning a new vessel chamber. Not mega bucks but another unnecessary hassle.

A Shurflo caravan type 12v pump is around 50 quid, then a solar panel and leisure battery, or just keep charging/replacing old tractor batteries.

Spring fed supply to large reservoir tank, but then pumped to header tanks for distribution by gravity. One trough however needs pump feed as it would lie about 5m above the gravity feed.
I assume you can't tee the one trough into the pipe going from the reservoir to the header so that one pump.does both jobs?
