Any ideas on what year and model of Fordson Major this is

Hi all, wondering if anyone could advise or give an opinion on this major, especially if you can make any sense out the model and serial numbers?
Yes I know it says "super major" but is it a new performance or just a super major with white mudguards?
Sorry for lack of photos but hoping some one may have an idea as I know nothing about Fords and Fordson
Thanks

It's a Super Major built in June 1961. Correct bonnet badges but wrong colour wheels and mudguards. Odd front wheels too. The New Performance SM came in July 1963.
If still original,it should have a Simms pneumatic inj pump. the NP used a Minimec mechanical pump.

we had a power major with the pneumatic governors. it could blow smoke rings out the exhaust. very responsive, better than the new performance super we also had.

My late Godfather had 3 Supers, 2 from new. The oldest was an orange wheel but that had the mechanical governor from new.

Just studied the Major parts list and I see the last Supers with orange wheels would have had mechanical pumps too...The pneumatic one was fitted from 1952 to March 1962.So there was another 16 months of old Supers before the NP came along.

Have a look at these. You can see some differences between the early orange wheel Super and the grey wheel NP Super.
You could also check casting codes.
