These are some of my draft ewes who are getting flushed ready to go to the BFL for tupping at over a thousand feet on rushes and brakem

Noticed that Masham lambs at bentham sale were down by £3 yes £3 on the year,is this because they will have a thicker frame? or because they will be out of a better framed ewe than a mule?

What does that prove? If you're trying to claim they're looking well off it then that shows nothing but they're lazy f'kers
@egbert and your good self seemed to be questioning the fact that Cheviots could live on the same ground as fancy faced daft horned breeds. So I thought some photographic evidence may persuade you differently but it would seem not. By the way those ewes have reared a crop of mule lambs then been put back to the hill till after the lamb sales as we were so short of grass
