Any tips for removing/replacing small E clips ??

As above , when removing Eclip from the groove they are in on the securing pin, they are securing . They seem to just "Ping off", when removing or fitting never to be seen again,so ample spare ones needed !!!!!:(

Magnet and small sharp blades screw driver to catch it, and fitting just magnetise a pair of normal pliers just to squeeze onto the groove. It’s all I do

The E clips we had to remove yesterday,we’re in the end of two pins holding rear window hinge brackets to hinge , tight against cab roof so extremely difficult to get at,as such confined space to work :banghead:
One Eclip lost .
