Tempting as it may be to have such an honour I have to admit to using a handheld circular saw with fine teeth and an actual tape measure, a straight edge and a pencil.
The grinder has a flap disk in for finishing the edges. [emoji38]

I have been looking at one of these though.

Ideal for trimming the ends off fencing rails etc.
Limited depth of cut would stop you trimming most fencing rails, wouldn't it?

there was a feature in one of the landy mags a few months back on an aussie conversion like this. I think he may have used the longranger kit for the body, but he did a chassis stretch as well.

did a cut & shut of two seperate chassis' cut the front one at the back of the straight run of chassis rail and the rear one towards the front of the straight run of rail, connected them with a Z shaped joint and ended up with somewhere around 110 inches of wheelbase. looked a great job.
