Anyone remember George Curtis from Scarcliffe?

Hi i doscovered this forum through seeking permission , then spent time browsing around.
Around 30 years ago i worked in Scarcliffe Park wood nr Chrsterfield, and remember George Curtis (the keeper) did a lot of competition ploughing around the country in vintage class....im pretty sure his son Brian did as well..anyone know/ remember them?

Brian still ploughs trailer class, when i first knew him he ploughed world style, if i remember right, he is a real gentleman

Hi thanks for gettiing back to me, thats great to know And yes his dad was a real gent too....i spent the happiest couple of years of my life working in Scarcliffe Park with George, he always said Brian would be a better ploughman than he ever was. Again thanks for taking the time to reply

Brian ploughing at Scarcroft & District around October 2012/13. He sometimes uses a 35 instead of the Standard. Could be Brian Shaw in the background.

Hi thanks so much for posting the photo, i really appreciate it.I think it was a vintage 35 tractor George used to use in Scarcliffe Park,but im not sure, im just pleased hes ploughing still

Cant comment on the plough, but I think he had the shares made by the original manufactures who supplied fiskar, I know I bought a pair for my Fiskar bodied 86.Was the tractor a D B?
