Anyone thinking of cutting out T3?

T2 was sprayed last Friday. For various reasons T1 was omitted so the T3 spray will definitely be sprayed. The fungicide will be Proline.

Same here generic teb + proline. Will be applied regardless as its ALWAYS wet here :(
When prices are low yield is king (even more so than when prices high) on that basis I find it strange that people cut inputs. If there is a chance of a margin over input cost then it's even more important to apply the product to help cover those overhead costs.

Most years show a greater margin over input cost from a T3 than a T0. Still lower than T1 & T2.

I'll certainly have some rust active fungicide in Reflection. Diego is susceptible to brown rust so same applies there.

fairly clean here but flag leaf spray 1/2 done last week, later wheats only just about ready will be going with teb ear fully out as it could still be nearly 11 weeks to go and thats under normal conditions ,although whats normal when one year we were finished by 14 august another didnt start until mid sept and still salvaging in october , will not use stobs as the latening of harvest effect is very costly in drying/ storage/timeliness, been there done that

No T3's here unless we get some rain in the next 7 days. Our wheats are very clean having had just 2 litres of Rover and 2 litres of Bowman in total @T1 and T2 . ( spend of £16/acre) We have not been pushing them with N as we do not want to grow BG. Total N application of 185 kgs/ha. We never grow more than 8/8.5 tons/ha so why waste money on a dream of growing more..!
If the weather changes we still have funds to go in with a substantial T3 but I might just be £3000 + better off doing nothing.

Only rain here was tonight and didn't damp the concrete, still debating what to do,

Only done 50 acres of T2 (already had a robust T0, T1, and T2 will be robust), the other is only just ready, crops still very clean.

From what I understand that T0-2 do give a yield response whereas T3 protects quality, I can understand this for milling wheat but is it really needed on clean feeds @ £100/t???

...or a 'cheap' teb @ £10/l or last year we used Orius P @ £13/l which i don't feel like spending at the moment

Do I read that right ? Your skipping t2 on some area or just it's still outstanding ?
