Hello all,
We are poultry and sheep farmers and are registered for APHA SMS update messages.
These have been regarding Avian Influenza and now Bluetongue.
We have noted that they often arrive in the evening, sometimes late.
I am concerned that the timings of these could be unescessarily stressful for those in the areas local to the outbreaks and was hoping to ask APHA to consider delaying sending these, after a certain time say 7 or 8 pm. Until the following morning. So as not to disturb people before they go to bed with issues they are unlikely to be able to act on that evening.
But my question is, is it just me who is concerned? And no one else is bothered? Before I attempt to take it further APHA
Thanks for your views in advance.
