But is it there to sell? if your going to get technical based on how this thread started. If you never actually own the rights to the machine/software it’s not yours to sell is it same as a machine on finance it belongs to the finance company.If you buy it 2nd hand , how will that work? You didn’t buy it off John Deere so your contracts not with them !
Not being a Deere fan it’s not so far a problem for me but no doubt others may follow.
It’s all just a bit silly though isn’t it! If you’ve paid your money it should be yours.
Ps. diagnostic software is readily available for most machinery now over the internet, and it’s not at silly money either. Any man in van should be able to easily make the initial investment cost back fairly quickly.
If I have to fire up the laptop there’s a fixed charge to cover the cost, but its cheaper than an hour at the dealer.
Is it legal to have the software though? I wouldn’t like to say
