There’s a fair bit going on there.
The cracks are frost damage
The black is scab and very unlikely to be only one branch.
There are curled leaves that are likely to have aphid.
The yellow leaves are most likely either canker or drought stress.
Have seen similar effects in various trees in last two years. One side of a cherry tree affected. Had to cut the wood back to where it was still live trying to stop whatever I believe was introduced by aphids spreading further into the tree. Wood was completely dead, sounds hollow when struck.
Same effect in two other smaller trees one which recovered after spraying the other seems totally gone with only regrowth from near the base.
