Don't assume Green as an ideology. I'm a nationalist.

For example ARM holdings based in Cambridge developed THE mobile phone chip for the past 2 Decades. But never made the Chip in the UK and was eventually sold to a Japanese Bank. Currently may be bought by NVIDIA in the USA.

Such companies should make products in the UK and be banned from being sold. All those taxes for all those jobs lost and the loss of UK power - horrific.

Farming is the more urgent issue. The AHDB are currently running a national media campaign pointing out that cows are responsible for more GHG emissions than air travel.

A lot will happen before 2040 i reckon but at the moment there is a commitment to reach net zero by 2040. I don't think its being industry led but imposed on us so we have to play by the rules. Easiest thing for HM gov to do is cancel all subs tomorrow and that would sort most of ag emissions out, i reckon that's what they will do if ag doesn't play the game by the rules they have set out so.
