anyone heard of this company based in southhampton?
Thanks for replying, that’s basically what I’m hearing but it sounds way too good to be true, everybody would be doing itSpoke To them at Dairy-tec event at stoneleigh. They came out to see me as my heat recovery unit is broken and not economical to fix. As @organicguy said sound to good to be true, only one third of power cost to heat dairy water.
Well someone is coming to see me about it tomorrow so I’ll find out more then, looks like a air source heat pumpHeat pumps are very common in other parts of the world but never seem to have caught on here. The technology is pretty well proven.
Ask about back up when it breaks down. Friend with one has it sitting idle as the backup/ repair didn't exist!Well someone is coming to see me about it tomorrow so I’ll find out more then, looks like a air source heat pump
YeahAnyone using an arkaya system on here?
Is working ok then?
What's your verdict now you've had it installed a few yearsYeah
Yes ,it’s working fine,it’s reliable, they’re good at sorting any problems, can always get hold of someone,on the whole very pleasedWhat's your verdict now you've had it installed a few years
I'm at the stage you started this thread off with in thinking it's too good to be true. I need to replace my hot water tank and looking at just the tank, tank and heat exchange or this system. Over 10 years with electric at 20p/KW the Arkaya system comes in considerably cheaper. I'm needing minimum 400 litres of hot water a dayYes ,it’s working fine,it’s reliable, they’re good at sorting any problems, can always get hold of someone,on the whole very pleased
