Asbestos or Asbestos Cement Sheets

Apparently it was deemed that there is NO safe level of exposure to asbestos, one fibre can kill you if you are unlucky!!!

Apparently you can eat asbestos, it might stop your bowels from working but it's the tiny tiny dust that you can barely see that effects you.

Blue asbestos is real bad as it brakes into realy small parts and is spikey so sticks in your lungs
Brown asbestos is nearly as bad just not quite as spikey

Both banned in late 70's I believe

White asbestos doesn't brake down as easily so wasn't thought to be as bad but was banned 1999 I believe

Other than that is dealing with any asbestos in an uncontrolled way worth the risk..

And yes usually 25 years, but
If unlucky 1-2 years after exposure
Also unlucky around 25 years lung cancer and if unlucky but alive asbestosis which probably shortens your life due to stress to your other organs due to reduced lung function

Either way to me it's not worth it for any poxy roof or even the cost of having a survey done and knowing the info..

They will say if it's ok let it be just have it on a register to check if any damage occurs..
