Asking questions on TFF

We now have a neat new feature on TFF that allows threads that contain a question to be posted as a question and subsequently those reading can vote for the best or most helpful reply - the thread view can then be set at your preference to show the most helpful / best answers first

to do this when you start a thread select the "question" tab

Then post your question

replies can then be voted up or down by members reading them using the up / down arrows ti the right of the reply box

A useful feature I think.

One suggestion I had in mind was identifying the OP in some way. I think when someone asks a question, it's easy to miss if they've asked a follow-up question or something in the midst of all the replies. Could be especially relevant if the upvote/downvote system alters the order of the replies and somewhere along the lines the OP says the problem has been solved. I know on Reddit for example, the OP gets a little microphone picture next to their name whenver they reply to their own thread.

On questions, the OP is included at the top of every page. But I agree, that a good idea on all threads.
