Atv storage box

Whilst every other farmer and land manager is driving around in a bench seat pick up body rtv we are thinking about a quad bike....
Lots of advantages and a few disadvantages.
Top of my list would be practical storage for the variety of bits and pieces required for cattle and sheep work.
I realise load capacity is minimal but has anyone found/purchased/made a simple storage box that has waterproof compartments as well as secure space for a couple of bags of feed. We could use bags or plastic bins for feed if a sensible method of securing them was designed.
All opinions appreciated (ish!)

Yes we have clip on flat beds that clip over the front rail of the carrier, but hang down covering the front lights, if that makes sense? Light angle steel frame and infilled with pallet timber. You can then drop a plastic box on the flatbed that comes out about 18" we find old fish boxes the best.
We only use them for light stuff, oil for the chainsaw etc, but probably get a bag or so of meal in one.

The bed just lifts off when not needed can also hang off the back. Best thing about them you can still use the racks.

But if your going to be carrying weight (and a lot of kit) go for a small jeep.
It will be cheaper to run in every way.

I’ll find out what we use, we’ve got black waterproof boxes purpose made for quads, we’ve had 1 since ‘98 and the other since 2001. Both fairing well and still waterproof. We can hold 3 small ice cream tubs for meds/smalls, A towel, 7-8 spray cans, foot trimmers, pliers, tagger, a few pairs of gloves, the odd hat etc and a few pots for holding rubber rings.

We use c-Dax rubber mat’s on the back racks, the dogs don’t slip and slide, they clean easy, their quite comfy to sit on.

This is on a demo bike, it’s the only picture I’ve got without dogs/children in it....

Does the headlight on the Yamaha shine over the top of the storage box @AI R ? I'm looking for something similar for lambing but was worried about the light shining back in my eyes at night. Cheers.

I bought a Yamaha 450 a few months ago, the light shines at the box but if a coat or towel is between the box and the headlight it doesn’t shine back, it’s rare if I have to drive with lights on when lambing, I tend to put the lights on when on the road in daylight mind..
