Australlian drought/heatwave

if you believe that video you will believe anything. Odd spots over Australia get hot every year, has done since i was a kid, 35 at night happens all the time where i work in the mine. 47 happens once a year or more someplace...42 is another day in the kitchen.

Its been terrible for years? As ignorant as they come.

Australia has been hot for millions of years, we only have 100 years if data and fair chance the first 60 wasnt that accurate, the country has been in its current format for close on 40 million years since it was separated from indonesia. The aborginies became there own race.

I haven't had a 40 degree day in 2 years, always get 1 a year?

I am amazed at the comments, like seeing what school children would say.

You cant seriously be an adult in 2018 and say you wonder if it will become uncivilized, if your are an adult you are as dumb as a day old badger.

Try going 60 miles NW. We've only been here at Meredith for 5 weeks and have already had 3 40deg+days !! I assume you are by the coast at Portland.

I believe there are areas on planet Earth that may become basically uninhabitable due to climate change in time, lack of potable water and not enough rain to grow anything with reliability or keep animals. Has happened before and I have seen land with my own eyes that was borderline already.

Saying the entirety of Australia is gonna be a goner mind is a bit much: it is a huge place.

Unviable due to climate.......hmmmmmmm , perhaps we could fill the void that the UK will leave in the EU. Then we can get subs for farming our unviable farms:rolleyes:. ..

Gotta say though. Our current spell of hot weather has set a few new records. Since xmas weve had around 13/14 days above 40. Another 5 coming this week:facepalm:. Is our current drought unprecedented? I highly doubt it....what is unprecedented where I farm is the change of government water policy that has intensified our current s**t situation.....will that render some types of farming here unviable? More than likely in the long run.
