Automatic Diesel tank nozzle

Ours is playing up and keeps tripping out
Is it worn out or is there something that we can fix to cure it ?

If we need to replace it, I’m looking for recommendations

They have a little hole at the end of the steel pipe. If it get blocked up with dirt then it will keep cutting out. Yours looks pretty manky

Poke through hole with small screwdriver or similar & should be good as new.
