Any recommendation for suppliers of kits for automatic sliding gate for farm yard?
I did price a full gate locally but it was stupid expensive.

Someone on here recommended Rhino Gates to me based on price etc. and said they had several. That said, I spoke to GateSafe about them as they had their logo on the website and was told they haven't done the training with them so aren't acredited.

What size gate are you looking at? They work out about £1000 a metre or so for the gate/motor plus any additional control gear (keypads, posts etc.) and installation on top.

Try Trevor Johnson TJ Auto Gates Ltd on 01455 202791 or mobile 07498993897 he did mine back in March a very good job, he will do what you want and even put your farm name in the gate, i have four key fobs and a phone the gate and it will open system, as long as the person's number is logged in memory, i have no keypad but two numbers to call, it stops every tom, dick, and harry coming in like a mcdonald's drive through.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
