AVR G-Force Bedtiller . The PTO shaft has got damaged at the machine end. We only need the slip clutch assembly. They will not supply. Had to buy the WHOLE shaft at a cost from AVR of nearly £2.5 K . Managed to find a cheaper supplier but still £1850 . It is an inch and three quarter shaft with 20 teeth . Only used by AVR . I could have bought cheaper but only if I bought 6 of them. Robbery

Needed to replace PTO shaft guard cone at machine end. Could not get shaft off as it had partially turned on splines and bruised them . Not blaming the machine at all
What annoyed me was lack of help from AVR to put it right. Why couldnt they supply just the slip clutch assembly that we needed. ?

This. I had the same trouble with a PTO shaft for a Spearhead topper that was constantly being chewed up by students turning too tight & not lifting the rear hitch arms high enough. I could get a whole shaft (£975) for £55 more than just the PTO guard. It's a big shaft with a wide angle joint at one end & a slip clutch at the other.

Fairly certain that size shaft is an American standard size. May be wrong
