Best bet at that money would be a Ford 555 or 655. You will get a much cleaner machine for the money than from the JCB stable and unfortunately Massey machines such as the 50H or 50HX will be rough for the money. There’s always 655s on ebay and Facebook, dont jump for the first one. It’s easier to rebush a machine than start welding tinworm. Another grand would get you into 655C territory aswell which has a much nicer cab.

Went to see an F reg 4wd 3cx, except the front prop was missing and the engine air filter was in the cab, a tidy D plate 2wd 3cx with extenda dig @£5700 and a JD410, tidy for age and local for £5500.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
