A transit van or flatbed with tow bar, gloves, face mask, crow bar, bolt croppers, battery powered drill, grinder, and screw driver. This is the attack kit of your average rural criminal. Willing to travel hundreds of miles.

The common dominator is that they all need to ‘trespass’ to commit thier crime.

With this in mind, walk around your farm and see how vulnerable you are. If you can, plug the gaps, make a change, and make it harder for them to be sucessful.

If you can stop them getting their vehicle on your land, then you can reduce the impact they can make.

Shooters are out most hours and can be a helpful deterrent and extra security for bit of shooting.
Just check they have a license and insurance working together and both gain.

Whose that tax man or government.
Do not know any shooters who carry clipboards.
Meet plenty of those when I fostered children plenty of social worker's wondered why I had guns.
Kids had no chances with some social workers.
Now retired

Years ago on a farm I used to live and work on had a whole load of badger sets. For years the Police college used the sets to show cadets what they actually looked like and often they would be all wandering around when I was trundling back from checking stock. The ones in charge would take great pleasure in getting me to be the prime example of the type of "gentleman" that they should be suspicious of, driving an old clapped out Land Rover or similar end of life pick-up, country attire from the likes of(remember it is a few year's ago) Countrywide and Primark with no Barbour's or Hunter's in sight. Terriers in the cab, shovels and other digging implements in the back and don't forget the old chestnut of a .22 or 12bore behind the seats
