Bag Filler With Dresser

There are a few bag filler buckets on the market but can anyone think of a way to dress wheat seed to remove anything that might block the drill that can be attached to the bottom of the bucket. Stones bigger than a winter bean or 2" long bits of straw for example . Would need some kind of moving sieves and a bit of wind no doubt . Would be handy to have a self contained unit

A combine!

Know one guy made a hopper to fill it at front and fills bags with a pipe off spout.

Here goes my bag filler! It's a auger bucket.

Have you tested the seed? What are you dressing it for?

Perhaps 'cleaner' would be a better description. Have always used our own seed put through a mobile dresser applying the chemical topped up with seed off the heap when needed. It always grows fine so thinking lets forget the chemical dressing and clean it ourselves after testing.

Not trying to clean it hard just enough to avoid drill blockages. Probably not enough space under the bucket to fix even the most compact cleaner. You still have to be able to use the bucket as a bucket to reload! Could be hydraulically driven from loader. 6t/hr or in that region.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
