I’ve got a 6m Dalbo Ballast Roller on the way. Found on another thread to fill it with a mix of water and antifreeze. What sort of ratio would one use?

Why bother...? Easy to drain out..and nothing easier than changing the weight to match conditions etc . haven't even had much if any frost this winter ?

Because i don’t have access to enough water where it’s going to be kept. Want to fill and forget.

Don't fill it all the way up, 3 quarters is fine, then the air in there will take the pressure of the ice expansion if we get a heavy frost.

About 30% antifreeze then.

A decent antifreeze will have rust inhibitor. Chuck in a 20litre drum with the water
