in theory yesWon't break so quick as it won't be doing the house or you won't need so many tractors

The point that is being missed by you is that if everyone produces less (which is actually happening due to the price of fert for instance) then the price of the goods goes up. So by reducing production by 30% you’re not reducing your income by 30%. So you don’t have to reduce your costs by 30% to balance it. And by everyone I’m talking worldwide.Yes but those fixed costs need to reduce pro rata with the drop in herd/flock size or else your Cop per head on the remaining stock/ arable ground will rise !
Is that too hard to understand?
Brexit was different things to different people.Interest rates is going to do nothing to solve a supply side problem, cannot import cheaper goods that don't exist.
A massive mistake gambling on Russian energy whilst ignoring home grown energy.
Brexit was correct, but HMG didn't follow through with investment in the UK - instead they created "Global Britain" which is the complete opposite of what Brexit is about.
The problem is the hateful gits in Westminster.
they could stop encouraging multi national companies to plant trees on farm land that could produce food, they could not bring in NVZ legislation on land where there is no problem, they could cull badgers to stop the rise of TB on farms. What exactly can the BoE or the government do about global forces? Did you see they are talking about easing the cost of living crisis by changing the MOT laws to mean a car need only be MOT'ed every two years? These people are fudging insane.
Brexit was different things to different people.
The polticians were very clear it was about importing basic essentials like food & energy. UK was going to make money from finicial services & skiming money from oilgarhs.
Voters voted for brexit because they did not like to hear east european accents at Primark.
To be fair very few could predict, things would end up quite this bad.
Welll it is the answer to be fair.Whilst we appear to be a world of sh!t at the moment we can't get too carried away. The world can generally produce enough food to feed itself and the government had already stated that the answer to this will be to get imports from Ukraine back on track ffs to help with food inflation.
Not my sort of people.Oh right.
Conservatives are not Conservative .. more like Globalist Liberals.
Not my sort of people.
But to be fair, they were very clear that imports of food & energy was the way forward.
One even wrote an article that UK would be better of with no agriculture.
I'm a remainer for many reasons, but Europe has always looked after agriculture.
Yes but sex is every where, every one wants two kids, nice car, nice holiday, good life.Who would have thought that adding 80million people a year to a planet they tell us is becoming more environmentally unstable every year, where there is no spare capacity for something to go wrong wasn't a good idea.
It wontcan someone explain to me how raising interest rates by 1/4 of a % is going to make the slightest difference to folk who are maxing out their credit cards on plastic throwaway shi-- paying well over 20%/annu
Yes but he was used to float Conservative ideas, Rees Mogg & others did not want any farming, well at a profit.I remember some analyst professor saying the UK could not have agriculture.
Nobody voted for said professor.

Import food to get the trade deals to sell financial services like Singapore.
Dear KFC as well then, so the analogy stands.Cheap chicken is over
If a tractor breaks , it will cost the same to repair 1 cow or 100 cows
Well even I think we should import food not grown in the uk. In a few hours I shall be buying £500 worth of it.You've got off light several times now because I thought you were playing the fool.
Rees Mogg advocated importing food not grown in the UK.
Better cite exactly what you say .. I've never seen anything like that, maybe the fantasy "The Guardian" ad-libing rather than posting facts (As usual).
Two kids would be fine ish , many have several !Yes but sex is every where, every one wants two kids, nice car, nice holiday, good life.
Sorry you are right but I don't have the answer.
Well even I think we should import food not grown in the uk. In a few hours I shall be buying £500 worth of it.
But Moggie supported lots of regulations on our farmers & no restrictions on imports (chlorine washed chicken, hormone treated beef etc.)
Iv been telling the public i meet that putin is after influencing world food prices for months, to be fair more or less all have agreed with me. If a pesant like me can see it and your avarage joe can how cant the government.Issue is we can see the train coming however Putin has tied us all to the tracks.
