If the weather don't improve it could go up again just as fast as it's come down
I agree with Derrick that prices could go up from here so perhaps it is best to hold on for now. I have demand at £70 per tonne for 50 bales - anybody else interested at this level ? Maybe for the return leg of a journey? We are near Horsham - 45 mins from M25 and one mile from an A road leading to the M25.
These are 6 stringers: 8ftx3ftx4ft ….
They were baled at the end of the heatwave last week and immediately stuffed in the barn to protect them from rain ….

48 of our finest Roos Farm barley straw 6 stringers leaving yesterday - happy to offer 48 bales for collection on Monday (when Tom is free to load) at £60 per tonne, collected from near Horsham in West Sussex. They are 8ftx4ftx3ft.
Any interest out there for Monday ?

So how much are 4’6” well packed round barley straw worth per bale locally ex farm to farm in a mixed farming area?
Was thinking a minimum of £20 (approx.£100 tonne) or they go in the shed for storage?
