I’ve just put one ptz camera in the yard. Can swing it round to see the parlour, road, cubicle shed and calving shed. No good for your job as it doesn’t record. It’s a leftec one off Amazone.

What is the Arla spec out of interest?

Parlour, calving pen and hospital pen recording for 30 days.
This is only for farmers on the 360, for other non 360 members there is no requirement from Arla to have cameras. Saying that all farmers regardless of who you supply it is advisable that you think about installing cameras.

Good to know. I already have hospital pen and calving pen ones. Haven't got one in the parlour.

I thought they might have wanted one looking at the tank to keep an eye on collections/sample taking.

A simple way of looking at it is any where you have seen an activist video taken from is where you need to be filming from. That way you can prove you do not do as the highly edited videos recon us farmers do should you be targeted.
