Whats going on ? taking a age for passports and lots of duplicate passports arriving not like them to make mistakes ?

I've had 30 in the last 3 weeks with no faults. Slightly slow than usual but otherwise fine.

Phoned em today and they just said loads of folk gtting the same just burn em, made sure i got a ref number and recorded everything.

The excuse I received after not getting my passports was that the bad weather was delaying the post.

I would normally rate BCMS as very good for a Government department.

Ours have taken a long time to arrive too. Guess they'll have had 4 days off for Easter too which won't have helped matters.

I had this problem back along so it's been going on a while.
It's a right pia as I struggled to trade normally off the back of it.

Applied for a load of passports last Thursday night,came in post yesterday morning

Guess what arrived today?

10 passports applied for on March 27th. They state they were issued on March 29th but only arrived today, April 7th, so (despite Easter being in between) I suspect they are posting in batches.

Issued last Thursday, missed to get them in the post. Not at work till Tuesday, Royal Mail on a go slow with the easter backlog. Delivery today isn't too far out I'd say.

I phoned and asked about duplicates, was told to destroy them so did, get letter yesterday wanting them back ! came out in a cold sweat but fortunately read on and said if destroyed sign and return letter phew !! close on lol
