Dropping panels on a concrete floor, should I run a bead of mastic behind the front edge of the panel before dropping into place? should I seal the exterior edge as well or could this trap water in middle?

It's a repair job I'm afraid, floors already in. Just trying to make best of a bad job really.Panel should be concreted in to the floor 2” deep water will leak in just laying them on top am afraid
No they shouldn't. They crack if you do that. They need to be able to flex.Panel should be concreted in to the floor 2” deep water will leak in just laying them on top am afraid
Every panel I’ve ever seen in a grain store is concreted into the floor. No they shouldn't. They crack if you do that. They need to be able to flex.
Waste of time using mastic round them, I know of a shed (the only one I know off) where the panels aren’t concreted in the floor even tho he was told by me and several others to do so. He insisted that mastic would seal them it didn’t and it still leaks to this day and he used tubes and tubes of it inside and outside !.It's a repair job I'm afraid, floors already in. I’m concreting mine in both sides, 50mm above the bottom inside 25mm outside to stop capillary action with any rain water.intereating. I’ve been told to Concrere them in as they are designed to flex.
do you suggest concreting both sides then?
