Beef / Lamb & Pig Price Tracker

Brexit in some shape or form will happen or else democracy is dead in the UK and so will the conservative party be as well.

Also if we stay in the EU will make us at the very min pay more money in/ join the Euro etc etc so staying in is not an option any more.

£420 for 200 kilo heifers is £100 too much as things stand.
The final vote will be in parliament and that could be against the deal and that's also democracy. Anyway, I agree on being forced to accept the euro if we go to the wire and then ask to stay so who knows. And yes £100 too much but still cheaper than the blues.

People voted to come out and parliament have to respect that.

Going into the Euro would be utter madness for the UK, take a look at Spain/ Greece etc and you will see that.

I think they are treading a very fine line now...barley and straw up...there’s going to be some casualties

I agree and in real terms before this week's drops the beef price is 20pk down on last year.

If they cut it too much people will just store the cattle given the fodder situation/ grain prices etc and next spring finished cattle will be very thin on the ground.

What was the beef price 12 months ago?

@gone up the hill whats your prediction for tomorrow's trade at Sedge - lambs and store cattle? I won't hold you to it, I just wonder what your thinking it will be - even if you think it should be something else. You watch the trends more than most.
