Very poor calve trade at Exeter today @Shebb90

A top end Lim bull ( u+ grade ) struggled to make £220 head, plenty of strong/well bred BBX / AAX etc heifers around the £50/70 head mark.

Top of the day was only £300 for a stonking Char x bull calve.

Would easily be £30/ 50 head less than Sedges poor trade last Saturday!

Couples a mixed trade, easily down £30 unit on last weeks trade!



Confidence seems to have fallen off a cliff and no one is intrested in rearing these calves even when they are making next to nothing!
