What is the hogget deadweight price now?
I try to keep close to the price for the ones we sell direct to local butchers and usually lag a bit behind.

When the price went over £5.20 they all reduced or stopped having any. However they are all wanting extras now and not asking the price. One of the butchers I supply sends through Farmdrop and because people no longer want to go out to shop his orders have quadrupled in the last 4 days.
With the live price continuing to go up it is difficult to keep up!!

St merryn told me £5.20 for Monday but to me that don't seem enough now compared with liveweight

Don't be greedy my friend...send a few and keep a few...one never knows how its all going to pan...greed is a very bad thing..remember we are in uncertain times
Totally agree so I am going to keep going but I think they might struggle to get numbers with liveweight where it is. But I might be wrong.

The reason the health authorities don't panic about flu but are about CV is simple, we have vaccines for flu and treatments for flu as such the elderly, sick and vulnerable are not as vulnerable, but we have absolutely no real medical control over CV at this stage, and the volume of people falling ill in tight geographic areas is putting pressure on intensive beds. Yes of course it's got to be put into perspective and the majority of people will survive but a lot of people will die/have died and lord knows how the media love a bad news story, so scaremongering we should not, but let's not believe it's not serious. Anyway hopefully gUTH hasn't woke with a headache. It's Sunday, the weather is looking better and the world hasn't stopped turning, yet.
But thats what confuses me about the panic. You state the health authorities dont panic about flu but do about cv as its simple. There are vaccines for flu as you state, but over 30 strains of flu and flu jab certainly doesnt cover them all, common flu is and has killed way more than cv depite vaccine available. Under 10s recovering with no ab treatment or hospital admittance within few days, people in 30s 40s no ab treatment or hospital admittance rough for 6 1/2 days speaking from experience. Sad as it is but all bar one uk deaths elderly / other health issues, italian losses sadly higher numbers, but above average age of population, still large majority of losses elderly or and people with other health issues and death rates way lower than they suffer on average with the flu
