Put 3 cheques in the bank this week no problem.

What's the issue with banking?
Well to be fair some banks have shut I wanted to put some in on Wednesday but that one was shut have to go Bideford but don't travel that way much. Just out of interest would most markets be fairy secure? If money couldn't be payed for a while?

Don't ask me but as Cullompton police as they have a real issue with it and sent people home this week who were trying to go to the bank.

They also put out a tweet ( I think it was ) saying it wasn't acceptable to go to the bank to put in a cheque, the tweet was posted on here by JP1 but I cant recall which thread that was on.
I always stick them in a free post envelope and post them. Have done for 20 years.
Why would anyone want to drive to a bank in a business situation?

If the mart foreman has a house on site, like at Hexham, they usually hang around at the bottom of his garden :)

Can you stick with market reports and stay off public service advice. You make this sh1te up day in day out. The UK is not on lockdown in the way you claim, British tucks can cross the channel in the same way as any other European trucks. Btw a regular Sedge vendor is in intensive care tonight, aged 60 and fit but fell ill after attending Cheltenham races, bare that in mind when you mock the impact of the virus and the attempts to bring it under control.
I really like your posts but throw him a bone FFS. The man has been to the mart to buy cattle for neighbours etc. and is only reporting what he's experienced.

Its not shite its what they are telling everyone ( and yes I hope they are wrong )

And the UK is certainly under lockdown, to claim anything else is a nonsense!

You cannot even visit your girl friend/ fiancé or even put cheques in the bank so if things like that are not controlling what you can/cannot do then words fail me and no goverement in 1000 years has banned people from seeing people they are dating/ going to bank/ seeing family/ going 10 miles for a walk etc until now.
They would have a job stopping me seeing my Girlfriend after all the depressing stuff talked about on here tonight, seems us farmers are doomed, must be many 1000s of hogs going to blow serious money,if you had anything for £80 or less over the last 2 months you had done very well,by the way I am happily married so no need to travel
