When folk buy these weaned calves, do they get much problems with pneumonia?
I find that about a week after they get here you need to watch them carefully, they can have a temp of 106 without looking much wrong with them. We use Draxxin on them which is expensive but usually effective. Dairy bred on the other hand seem to be better with something different IMO.

I only took cull ewes yesterday, butcher special lambs still making over £100, nice female lambs still getting £2/kg, but heavier tup lambs had dropped the most, think my lambs from last week would have been at least £10/ head less yesterday. Tidy 43kg £78 towards the end of the sale
