A consistent run of lambs!

Back a pound or two from last week, but lambs probably not of quite as good quality.

A little bit lack lustre if I'm honest 41kg 2.15. Don't know wat the average was as drop and go........ Pretty poor compared to stores by the sounds..............

I had some entered but I didn’t manage to get there with them due to calving duties.
Store lambs have been getting dearer by the week up there.

Texel crosses, I wondered about taking a trailer load of the better ones rather than the smaller end. Will be about 42kg ish. Been on a hopper, ticking along, but not ad lib. Looking alright - skipping and jumping but really needing that extra 3 or 4 kg to go as a fat lamb..

“Takeovers”, but because they were in trouble like Debenhams and Arcadia?

Are Debenhams not only in trouble because the slimy bugger that was going to take them over, is pulling out to have a go at taking over Arcadia, supposedly? I dare say the creditors/suppliers & pension funds will be the ones to lose out either way.

Bought a trailer load on Monday...don’t normally buy store lambs but sold a few loads of our own, so bought some to replace them

i think thats a bit unfair TBH.....the debenhams deal would've included arcadia brand franchises that with it's collapse disappeared....high street retail is in horrible trouble....obsolete and to much capacity
