Very cheap I would say
I wouldn’t say they were cheap. A good buy on a crazy trade perhaps, but certainly not cheap.

Would “Value on the year” suit better??I wouldn’t say they were cheap. A good buy on a crazy trade perhaps, but certainly not cheap.
I didn’t weigh them...they’ll be sold finished off grass in AprilWhat weight are they???
How many ewes do you run? That’s where we need to end up. We can’t afford to cart everything for 40 plus miles on wagons. We will need to grow some roots here. Not easy to get into that system when chasing grass/room
I've got a job for youYes good skins, thought they’d be good to sell in April....they were £72. Happy to gamble at that price
Do you sell everything off grass, it must be good stuffI didn’t weigh them...they’ll be sold finished off grass in April
Unless it’s a bad spring yes, get some urea on earlyDo you sell everything off grass, it must be good stuff
When was the last time you attended a store lamb sale?I wouldn’t say they were cheap. A good buy on a crazy trade perhaps, but certainly not cheap.

What time did you go through? Must have been late ish on?First time at longtown store sale since august. Had some lambs to drop off to go on a wagon so took 20 to top the load off. They seamed hellish dear to me. The smaller the dearer they got! i would think they will be up on the week but don’t know with not being there previous weeks. Sadly only 2 buyers left when I went through at the end but still satisfied for what they were. Would have been couple of quid more earlier on.
February if we can travel, March at the latest with ureaWhat do you call early for your part of the country?
Those lambs you bought in the pics above were very cheap on the trade, they would easily be £10 head more down here currently if not even more than that!

Pleased I didn’t take mine. Probably this colder weather has pushed folks on. I was there with lambs last week. I was surprised how many good heavy lambs were in compared to earlier weeks. Did you have blackies in?2pm, JW said they would be finished by 3 Last night. It was 4.30, think there was a lot more lambs than they expected buyers were a little sick. Folk sold 15mins b4 were there at 10am.
Sounds like you need a kick up the arseThat would be like us going out this week with the Fert spreader down here!
Most people don't seem to drag it out the Shed untill at least April in this part of the world for grassland!
