They are a euro behind or 85p!
Cows are closer in price.
I stand corrected then, i read an article which i thought said they were 10-15p behind. Perhaps as said above that in real terms with shipping costs etc that it is somewhere near 10-15p 🤷‍♂️. What is the price difference between northern ireland and southern and are the prices agriland quote for north or south?

Agriland quote prices for the South.
Shipping costs are negligible compared with the load value!
You have to remember who owns the Meat companies and how few of them there are. It is surprising that they don't look after their own better!
However screwing the farmers comes naturally.
Realistically there should only be around 30p difference between the S Irish price and the price here.

But you can't have it one way and not the other!

10oz steak is about 0.3kg... £10 a steak that’s £31kg!!!! You telling me kill and cutting is that expensive with a bit left over for premesis and profit? [emoji15] it’s been said 10000 times over, isn’t it strange how everyone else in industry gets too choose there profit margins but we just take what we’re told we’re being given

You do realise that a carcass isn’t just made up of steaks?
