I think everyone is a little nervous. There are upward pressures and downward pressures and nobody wants to lose out with a wrong move.
I get the impression there is some serious head scratching as to where to set this weeks prices.

Breeders would be cheaper again on Friday in Thainstone,Dalmally on Saturday a lot of the breeders bought by dealers to split . More dispersals in Dingwall on Wednesday,a real buyers market up here at the moment,there is more people selling up than there is folk to buy them.
Dunbia beef was £3 82 last week, a year ago you would say that was good but a month ago you wouldn't.Nothing to moan about, grass is growing like hell and lamb/beef jobs good.

It is reported that store lambs hit £200 head at Sedge yesterday!
And store cattle hit £1550 head, stirk trade was on fire and well up on previous weeks!
Commercial type outfits £1200-1400 cows with £7-800 pound calves
