A guy standing next to me took most hoggs to £115 then dropped out.He bought some of the smaller ones. I only paid that because it was only 3,and not much damage done.Didnt want to say to myself,ive trailed all this way over here for nowt.
It happens! 😣 Couple of years ago I did a highlands run and came back empty handed. That hurt! But better than 250 very expensive lambs

Auctioneer’s Comments: A reduced entry of 1811 lambs sold to a much more difficult trade for all presented as purchasers struggle to shift lambs at the recent high prices. The best sold to 289 and 284ppk from BAV & JE Scriven. Others 280ppk from CA Churchill; 279ppk from R Wall; 274ppk from AE Vile & Son; 273ppk from Peckmoor Farming (2x) and RW Gould; 271ppk from CA Mogford and 270ppk from AB & GR Dodgson. Heavier lambs sold to £148 from AE Vile & Son. Others £145 from Y Underwood; £139 from BAV & JE Scriven; £138 from SER Hunt; £137 from TP & JA Cole; £136 from L & A Maddock & Co and KC & JM Cooke; £133 from CA Mogford and £132 from S Clancy and DM Crossman. Overall average £108.65
