Why not so much interest now, you would think people might be back in hope of a bargain cos the fat has droppedLongtown started well, first 1/3 - 1/2 I'd reckon were just £2-£4 down on last week... but then it all slipped away
I was about 3/4 through. Drawn roughly the same as last week 30-35kgs, fleshy but not fat. But I'll be honest - last week's lambs looked better IMO.

50 at £73. I'm down £15 on the week
Half the buyers were gone by that point

If you say they are 32.5kg then that’s 225pkg so about what they are worth.Longtown started well, first 1/3 - 1/2 I'd reckon were just £2-£4 down on last week... but then it all slipped away

From your picture,i would have put them about £80,maybe more, going on Hexham trade on Friday. Nice lambs!Aye but they were £88 last week
Again, mules only averaged 211 at Skipton yesterday so if your where 33kg buy the time the got sold that £69.Yes they just got worse as the sale went on, not the buyers there for the number of lambs. My mules were £69 threw 12 over the weights this morning and they would av 34/5kg no bother So very disappointed after all the hype. It’s a lot better selling them at home knowing exactly what they are when they go up the ramp.
Was JE and Tony England not there?.................. Maybe they had got stuck at Castle Douglas and Stirling from yesterday.Yes they just got worse as the sale went on, not the buyers there for the number of lambs. I nearly had a run up,and would have been tempted to wave my hand a bit at £73 for those.Longtown started well, first 1/3 - 1/2 I'd reckon were just £2-£4 down on last week... but then it all slipped away

Don’t get your hopes up.Hopefully those wee running mule lmbs will be back as much in a months time, the fat price sets the trade for everything. Maybe folk don't have the grass till it either rains or stops depending where you are in the country.
