SBF correct breeding ewes at the Cally, nice ewes could be bought under £80. Right smart ewes we’re up too mid £90’s. Odd fancy pen over the hundred. If you weren’t very particular you could buy handy pens around £60 and just flick out the 2/3 feeding types from them. Didn’t look madly dear really. Some very nice bodied ewes in. Not gone totally pot bellied.

Not looking too bad then @livestock 1 ... might have to break through the £100 barrier for the swales but could just about tolerate that!

If I’d wanted blackie ewes too tup I could have bought 2/300 real nice types too average £78 ish. They aren’t something I have much too do with when they are still breeding quality! 😂 so I don’t really know how too value them
They seem cheap. Just have to get some bfl tups and you could breed yourself into a flock of young scotch mules for very little money.

Skipton stores good trade, took my last 55 lambs mixed bunch as it’s literally last of em, took 9 out there were a lot smaller frames and 1 that had tiny bit of joint I’ll in one of its rear legs,

main batch £80, small ones £74.50!!! One with joint ill (tiny bit you would have never seen it in with rest but I’m an honest chap) £77 happy with that all cleared out!

they looked good to be fair nice texels with white faces, been a good run this year.

That sound like an excellent trade for a clear out.
I'm clearing out of shepherded lambs tomorrow (except 4 very small but heathy lambs that will go in freezer next may), got 100 Suffolk mules to go, hope we will have the same trade as you.

Had 70 fat lambs away this week, mules.
Decided to take the biggest best 20 to the auction to sell live because 'deadweight price was lagging well behind live' according to this forum!....averaged £95.
Took the smaller 50 deadweight and averaged £97.30.
This price tracker can be a useful tool but you do sometimes have to take things you see on here with a large pinch of salt!😂
I and your stoppages was probably another £2 at the auction
