You say on more than one occasion the price has “crashed” and then speak of large stores being back £100 over a 3 week period. Is this not the case of “back end comes every year”and also some reality coming into the trade as a result of corn and fert prices. Not as fast and as hard as this!
Weather was crap last weekend and that is when the price crashed.
None of the big dealers have any orders for cattle and most of the large farmer buyers week in/out are not that bothered if they get cattle or not.
Some today drive 3 hours to get to Sedge, would normally stay to the end and as hungry from the first lot to the last but today just bought a few then went home and that was the same last weekend.
If anyone else posts this, you'd bitch that they were talking the trade down!!
Don’t start on sheep , I sense a crash will be looming fast !How long before the sheep jobs overdone? Hell theres some sheep about and everyman and his dog seems to be at it.

Sounds more like a backend adjustment rather than a crash in cattle trade
