Just don’t turn up with more than a trailer full! 😉
A lot from around here are going Holmfirth now. (Better type lambs admittedly) and are having a right good do. Still plenty of butchers but there I’m told?

I see Longtown has advertised 4 brand new, bought in the spring but never used, Portequip Hogg Hoppers for sale

Someone has obviously had the plan to be Billy big balls in the finishing game... then had 2nd thoughts and shat the bed at both the store lamb and feed prices 🤣
Or Portequip have decided items like that make
More at sales as farmers take the cheque book with them and leave their brains at home .

Any report from Carlisle stores and weaners today ? @aangus ?
Bulls looked cheaper and more in, weaners down as well. A few buyers missing today and a late finish due to store numbers and a big dairy sale prevented them from taking the bulls into ring 3. Getting on for 4 o clock when they finished I would think, no good for selling that, the ring was quiet by then. Not sure about the stores.
