Longtown today - Pure Texel ewes with pure texel lambs at foot (singles) topped at £120/life... Vendor had 23 ewes with 39 lambs to average @ £100/life

Without seeing the sheep, it sounds a bargain for pures!!

I was told on thursday that the trade for these texels was very good, and vendor was happy too.

Sounds similar to what I was brought up with as a youngster. We always had Sunday dinner in those days (at teatime) a group of us sat around the dinner table taking the pi@@ Mother Father Grandmother some workers and myself (paid and unpaid) everyone got their turn
