They are desperate for Angus scheme cattle tho offered £4.20 non organic, and we haven't supplied them for years.

Yes they sent that text last week 420 heifers and 424 steers, Tesco must think you can turn a tap on!

What is Waitrose native breed at the moment?

Just been to SW Ireland for three days lost most of my gear on route but had a great time only slept once and that was during the pub quiz, only had the cloths i stood up in and never saw a shop or a washing line, but with cash for Guiness and vittals i was like a pig in muck. Sent some lambs before i went and they averaged over £2.00 kg and £85 best being £2.15 and £93, the times they are a changing, it is indeed a Beautiful Day despite the 10' high snow drifts that meet me when i got back :)

My contract could be coming to an end due to expansion of the company it goes to so just wonderd do Morrisons, Co-op, Waitrose etc pay on other natives such as Galloway, Luing and Whitebred Shorthorn. Just thinking of changing Angus Bull for a Luing to get smaller hardier heifers and keep the Shorthorn as the main terminal sire. Somebody finishes them for me and he sells in decent numbers so should suit buyers if they fit the bill.
