Thankyou 👍 not quite made my mind up weather I prefer these texel x Charolais lambs Iv just started killing which have taken a bit longer to get there but they don’t trough too much creep and are a real tidy lamb or the Suffolk lambs that eat there body weight in creep but apart from a handful are all long gone now
On a normal year the long gone suffolks should be the most profitable but this year there hasnt seemed to be any premium in lambing them early to capitalise on the spring lamb job. Sent some April born singles off yesterday that will make as much as the ones i lambed in January. Funny old game.
