Listen to the Kivells Exeter market report on FB for today!Reading various reports and there's a common theme about lambs should be well finished and meaty. Averages can not mean a lot at times because there can be a two tier market for leaner lambs and meaty lambs.
I'm selling a few cattle tomorrow and was going to post the prices. Do I put it on here or the boring thread ?
All very well the auctioneer saying too many lambs were to lean and should be sent into the Friday store market instead as they are knackering the prime SQQ but they need to go further than that and send those lambs home and tell them to bring them back a week on Friday in the store market or pull them out of the prime sale and sell them as stores for double the store lamb comm after the prime lamb sale!

Made me laugh reading the other so called beef thread, several posters put beef prices on that thread who have been posting on this thread for years but on this thread they never post prices yet on that thread they were falling over themselves to post prices!
Does not add up/make any sense why those trouble makers will happily post prices on that thread but not this one!

I’m only jealous. I wouldn’t go skiing unless I was getting paid a lot of money. Shooting on the other hand… would happily go shooting every week of the season but can only afford 2/3 days a season
