Top wedders making £90 good wedders £70- £80 ewe lambs up to £200 good ewe lambs £140-£150 saw a pen of 435 wedder lambs like peas in a pod £88. Be interesting to see how the average works out at a guess and from what folk were saying wedder average up £4-£5 pounds
Who are the big dealers up there buying big numbers, was mctaggart there himself.

Was introduced to Andrew at a show a few years ago. Told me he was a crofter from down south, them gave me his card “in case he could help me any time”. Seemed a true gent and very humble.

Crofter 😂 that sounds about right
I get on well with them. Dad always said it was good when Billy was buying the lambs, he would bid that little bit more

They are talking of rain we see it on dartmoor and it stays there, maybe at last some will head our way, westawolds even giving up now, fourth cut October???!!!

It's known as the 'agricultural effect ' .....we are going round in circles in a constant blurr !
I think only a livestock effect. On another thread those that had finished harvest were categorically ruling out stock as a tool for yield enhancement due to the risk of being on call 365 :ROFLMAO:

Be a change from 6 weeks busy in each of spring, summer & autumn.
